Six years ago, Stumpy Frog Records pressed the soundtrack to A Short Hike on vinyl. The game, critically and commercially acclaimed, left an indelible mark on indie gaming. The vinyl release sold nearly 1500 copies across 9 different variants. It was an honor to work with developer Adam Robinson-Yu and composer Mark Sparling to put such stellar music to wax. And now we’re back at it.

Pianist Pablo Enver, collaborating with the original composer Mark Sparling, reinterprets the wonderful music of Hawk Peak Provincial Park on piano, capturing a whole new perspective on the heartfelt adventure.

Partnering with Lost In Cult, we’re pressing Pablo Enver’s interpretation of the A Short Hike original soundtrack to vinyl. Interpretations ranging from beautiful and playful, to solemn and melancholy, pressed across two different variants: Stumpy Frog Records’ Island Vibes variant and Lost In Cult’s Hawk Peak Blossoms variant. All tracks mastered by Ohad Nissim and featuring brand new artwork by Saffron Aurora, art designer for the original A Short Hike soundtrack release. Through her art, she provides a whole new look at Claire’s journey, with an inner gatefold chronicling her thoughts and feelings.
